Flavorchem International Inc adheres with utmost highest food quality and safety standards through building quality into the product by design and maintaining rigorous quality assurance, control, and traceability systems in place. Flavorchem International Inc has currently been assessed and registered for FSSC 22000:2010 certification conforming to the requirements.
We have also been awarded the certificate of recognition from the Food Products Association Supplier Audits for Food Excellence Program. To demonstrate the food safety, quality and traceability capability, we have selected FSSC 22000 certification system including ISO22000:2005, PAS 220:2008 and additional FSSC 22000 requirements. The certification system consists of an annual audit of the food safety management system and an annual verification of the PRP elements and additional requirements as included in the scheme and the PAS220.
FSSC 22000 is a Food Safety Management System (FSMS) certification scheme that uses a management system approach mandating the requirements of robust HACCP programs. It carefully evaluates incorporated food safety analysis risks and followed HACCP principles to mitigate such risks with a focus on a food safety management system validating the overall effectiveness of FSMS in-place. The purpose of this mission is to harmonize the requirements of food safety management on a global level. Food safety is a combined effort for all parties involved and requires aligned efforts to provide a safe food supply chain. HACCP based quality assurance is essential as food safety hazards can enter the food chain at any stage.
